PH&Lime

Hello. Someone had asked a question concering PH/Lime etc. You may have
already gotten the answer but if you did not here is the formula. Took
sometime to find it in my notes.

To raise ph from 4.5 to 5.5 use 60 lbs of ground dolomitic limestone for every
1,000 square feet. 6 lbs per 100 square feet.

To raise ph from 5.5 to 6.5 use 85 pounds of ground dolomitic limestone for
every 1,000 square feet. 8.5 lbs per 100 square feet.

To lower ph from 7.0 to 6.0 use 4 pts of powered sulfur for every 100 square
feet

To lower ph from 6.0 to 5.0 use 4 pts of powered sulfur for every 100 square
feet.

Hope this helps!!
