I was browsing an Edmunds Scientific catalog last night and, with this
thread fresh in my mind, when I got to their sonic gadgets for repelling
pests, I couldn't help but wonder if there is some frequency that would
repel all these various pumpkin cooties. They claim to have some that
will repel ticks and fleas, why not vine borers or white flies? Maybe
we should try to recruit some entomologists for the list. Hey Rick
Noffke, what do you know about this? I really don't like tossing
all these vile chemicals out there.
Joe Mills, maybe you should crank up the amps and play your guitar in
the pumpkin patch!

electronic box that causes all white sap-sucking flies within fifty
meters to dye a painful death then explode. I seem to be getting an
infestation of these sap-suckers and now the powdery mildue is
starting.
