Digest and Archives

This is my first message for months, but I've been reading most messages
and following everyone's adventures in the giant pumpkin world.

I subscribe in Digest format, and highly recommend it to those who feel
swamped with messages. 

You can delete all Digest messages easily as they come in, and do all your
reading in the Archives, where it's much easier to follow the threads. 
Replies from both the Digest and Archives just take a bit more cutting and
pasting, that's all. Duncan tells me that you have to belong to either the
List or Digest in order for replies to be accepted from the Archives,
which is a web page.

Anyway, we are looking forward to a very early spring here on Vancouver
Island, and hopefully a great pumpkin-growing summer.

For the past couple of weeks I have been testing a new germination
chamber, and once I get positive results I'll post details.
