For those that might be interested, the Solo comes in three models. These are
the Junior 410, the Master 412 and the Port 423. Each one gets bigger and
more
expensive. I would be interested in who is using which model and how they
like
it. I don't know the exact cost. I know they are expensive. The address of
the
distributor in the US is as follows:
Solo Incorporated
PO Box 5030
5100 Chestnut Avenue
Newport News, VA 23605

Lub,
This type of unit typically gets a bigger blower and a bigger tank to hold
liquid as you go up in the line. The down side is that they get quite heavy
when full so keep in mind the size of patch you are dealing with. George may
be familiar with these model numbers. I have had an Italian made one ( the
name escapes me right now).... I have to put it on the back of my
pickup...then I can get it on my back. If anyone out there has hit the lottery
lately, there is an electrostatic backpack sprayer that puts a charge on the
spray particles so the spray sticks to the underside of the leaf like a
magnet. Before you get too excited...........they are $1,800.
