ready to go

Hello everyone - I just re-signed on the pumpkin net...... for the season!

This will be my second year attempting to grow the big ones in Cleveland, OH.

As the soil here does not warm up quickly.... I will use black plastic to keep
things warm.... and errect a covering until the weather cooperates.

A question: Is there any advantage to starting plants indoors - under grow
light conditions (in April) and then transplaing outdoors in late May? (for
this area no earlier would be feasible)

Or does this just stress-out the plants? In our climate here - does an indoor
start really make a difference - I have my doubts.....
