Wanting to know if anyone from Kansas is trying to grow a big pumpkin?
I tried the last two years not much luck! 1st year to much horse fertilizer
burnt them up. I have ordered the Alantic Dills and paid $10 for the 3 seeds
only 2 came up. My heart is in it, want to try again. Trying this year to
have the patch down by the river where the soil is sandy. So far the
watermelons & pumpkins are a success. But they have never tried to get a
champion.. I have been quite the laughing stock my family & neighbors. Every
year I tell them I am going to the fair. I think in Kansas the record is
200-300lbs.
I am in need of a good seed! Thanks for any help...
