Re: Canadian Groundhog Dies

Living across the river from Canada in Detroit, we get the CBC (Canadian 
Broadcasting Corporation) both on TV & radio.  I was driving around when 
I heard the sad news about the death of Canada's groundhog, along with 
appropriate background organ music.  Very moving, even brought a tear to 
my eye.  However, the reporter assured everyone that there would be an 
early spring because the town's mayor came out of his office and didn't 
see his shadow!  They also announced visitation for the dearly departed 
would be held at a local motel's deep freezer, at least until the ground 
thawed enough to bury the little guy.  

I assume flowers can be sent....
