the above is elemental sulfur? and which would you suggest I apply?
Thanks very much in advance!

Gene,
When one refers to elemental sulfur, they are talking about pure sulfur as
an element. If you hear IronSulfide, Iron Sulfate, Ferrous sulfur, etc. they
are talking about chemical compounds that contain sulfur, iron and oxygen in
some of them. They combine with the water in the soil and have an acidic
reaction...a very dilute form of sulfuric acid. This lowers the pH. I'm not
sure what Montana sulfur is chemically........maybe just elemental sulfur from
Montana?????? 90% sulfur would probably be elemental sulfur that was mined
with 10% impurities I would guess. If it is commonly used for agricultural
purposes, I would guess that the other 10% is not harmful to plants. Just make
sure they are agricultural products and you should be ok.
