Selective controlled fruit injury

Has anyone ever thought of using the fast growing scar tissue as a benefit to
added weight by forcing scar tissue and callousing to occur due to selectively
injuring the skin surfaces of an AG fruit? Sounds weird, but you never know. I
thought of this one time when I was on a prescription cough suppressant. If
the pumpkin is pressured, it might go beyond what is needed for normal growth
if there is a need to for survival.
SCFI might be the answer to an extra 500 pounds, or more. Who knows!
