Warm Weather
It was 63 degrees here in Pennsylvania today. Hard to believe. I went to
Loew's and bought composted cow manure and humus. In all I added 100 bags of
this stuff to my 50 by 50 foot garden. I'll be interested to see what it does
to my CEC. Three years ago the CEC was 8 and my soil was mostly sand. Now
after three years of adding compost from the local compost center, lots of
plastic and other stuff mixed in, my CEC is up to 18. The stuff at Loew's
though more expensive is cleaner and easier to handle. It will be interesting
to see what my CEC is in the summer after my present additions have had a
chance to get mixed in.
