AN APOLOGY & EXPLANATION
LIST MEMBERS
This is to set the record straight and hopefully put an end to any further
postings on the subject of what i have said in the distant and recent past on
Seed Auctions.
1/No one on this list should have remarks make about them in the way that
Jethro D Bodine? started his posting about me publicly on this list.
2/I sincerely apologise if i caused any upset to people who are now in
support of Seed Auctions and who are either auctioning or buying Seeds via
such Auctions.
3/I fully admit that i was wrong by not making it clear that any money that i
would have raised by offering the 567.5 seed i had would have gone towards
helping the finances of the now non existent British National Pumpkin
Society, It was a foolish mistake to have omitted such details.
4/The money that i obtained from the sale of my Pumpkin Growing equipment
went towards the payment of the then BNPS P.O.BOX renewal which in $'s cost
$82.00. Just over what i made on the sale of the equipment i sold.
5/I have not got out of the hobby of Giant Pumpkins, i just do not have the
land on which to grow them at the moment.
6/The 567.5 Seed that was in my possession is going to be sown this year and
if it germinates Alun Jones and Myself will be looking after the plant and
resultant Pumpkin/s which will be grown on his Patch. It will be a
partnership and we will both have our names associated with whatever
Pumpkin/s are produced on the 567.5 Plant.
7/The UKGPG that i have been trying to get off the ground since early October
1999 is still in name only and it is very unlikely that i will get the
financial or Membership support needed to get the UKGPG up and running.
With some exceptions, i would like to apologise if i have caused any upset
due to my omission that any moneys that i received for the 567.5 would have
NOT been used for my own PERSONAL gain. If you want to continue a slanging
match then please e mail me privately as i do not want fellow list members to
see the way in which i can be assertive with replies to such very crass
postings.
Also, to those who e mailed privately and used such vile and over the top
language you will be receiving a reply in the very near future.
