IPGA seed auction - Day 1
Hello Pumpkin growers,
I would like to invite everyone to join us
for the 2nd annual IPGA (Indiana Pumpkin Growers Assoc.)seed
auction. Last years auction was a great success and helped the IPGA host its
first GPC weigh-off. Before we get started I would like to thank everyone
involved for their help. The list is long so forgive me if I miss someone.
Obviously I would like to first thank all of you who donated seeds toward the
auction. Many of the seeds from this auction came directly from the growers
themselves. A few special seeds However did not. I would like to extend
special thanks John Maston, Marv Hicks and the PGPGA, Wayne Kennedy and Barb
Kincaid for their special donations of seeds. I would also like to thank
Duncan for
allowing us to use the list for this auction. Hugh Wiberg and the GPC for
their support in getting our weigh-off site established in Indiana. And last
but certainly not least Howard Dill for developing this awesome line of seeds.
All bids are to be submitted privately to the following address:
Brad2Julie@aol.com NO
BIDS SENT TO THE PUMPKINS@MALLORN LIST WILL BE ACCEPTED. Otherwise we would
have a list full of bids cluttering up our e-mail. This is a silent
auction(i.e. nobody will
know what you have bid.) Keep in mind though, If you win, your winning bid
will be posted the following day. The Day 1 offer will end at mid-night
Monday. There will be five seeds a day offered up for bid. If all goes well
the auction will last for ten days. Everyone who grows Giant pumpkins is
welcomed to bid except for those living in the State of Oregon. Oregon
forbids the sell of vegetable seeds in its state without a special license
which we do not have. If you live in
Oregon and would like seeds please fell free to email me to discuss this
further.
Todays seeds are:
Sproule 968
Patrick 947
Eaton 908.5
Wentzell 926.5(uow)
Luzzi 769
For more detailed information about these seeds and their
genetic
backgrounds. Check out the new cucurbyte web at:

I hope you all enjoy the auction during the next 2 plus
weeks.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask. Thank
you for
your support.
