IPGA seed auction day 2
Hello Pumpkin growers,
Congratulations are in order for Andrew
Papez. Andrews bid of $51 was the high for day 1. Thank you to all who bid
yesterday. There were several bids. Before we move on be sure you read the
paragraph below. I have added a few things to the rules, mainly just to
clarify some things. I appreiciate it when people ask good questions like
they did yesterday. This should clear things up a little.
All bids are to be submitted privately to the following address:
Brad2Julie@aol.com NO
BIDS SENT TO THE PUMPKINS@MALLORN LIST WILL BE ACCEPTED. Otherwise we would
have a list full of bids cluttering up our e-mail. This is a silent
auction(i.e. nobody will
know what you have bid.) Keep in mind though, If you win, your winning bid
will be posted the following day. The Day 1 offer will end at mid-night
Monday. There will be five seeds a day offered up for bid. The seeds are to
be bid on as a group not individually. You do not have to be a list member to
bid on seeds. As long as you can access these emails through the archives
that is fine. Please bid in whole dollar amounts(i.e. $31, $46 not $46.03).
If all goes well the auction will last for ten days. Everyone who grows
Giant pumpkins is welcomed to bid except for those living in the State of
Oregon. Oregon forbids the sell of vegetable seeds in its state without a
special license which we do not have. If you live in Oregon and would like
seeds please fell free to email me to discuss this further.
Todays seeds are:
Mettler 865
Hunt 991
Patrick 760
Hol 669
Thorson 837
For more detailed information about these seeds and their
genetic
backgrounds. Check out the new cucurbyte web at:
http://mindspring.com/~neps/aggc.htm
I hope you all enjoy the auction during the next 2 plus
weeks.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask. Thank
you for
your support.
Brad Walters
