Great to hear you are so into this. I just have a feeling about that Hester
'99 850.5. Has good "Baxground" and seems like a good mate for the Kline
Male-688.5 '98. The Male Kline '98 was crossed with a Schwarz, which I also
have, to produce the #2 pumpkin overall last year!!
There is also the possibility of me crossing the Kline 1036 with the Hester
850.5 (What are your thoughts of crossing two immediate former females?).
I'm not entirely sure I understand that male lag time for dominant genes.
(???) Your thoughts?? Which do you think is better and why- Kline '98-
688.5 X Hester '99 850.5 (half of the combo which produced the 1036!) ORRRR
Kline- 1036 X Hester '99 850.5??? Then there is also that Mombert 866
descendent (+12%H) in my clutches that I could cross with one of those, or
even mix it with either Klines or Hester, alternating segments on the fower.
