UOW means unofficial weight. This means that the pumpkin had some sort
of problem with it, either a hole or large sort spot and the pumpkin could
not be officially entered, but it was weighted and the weight was the actual
weight. It could have nbeen weighed at a weighoff or by the grower someplace
else.
