Dear Guru,

I am writing seeking enlightenment. I'm still shaky on understanding the
genetics of these things and why people make the crosses that they do - why
for example is a sibbed 946.5 an interesting cross? Why would you want to
cross the 879 back to the 815?  In short what guidelines do you use when
determining what seeds to cross with what?
