If i were to give my Seed collection to a Growers Group, which i do not
intend to do, to auction off in order to raise funds for the Group i am sure
that my actions of posting my Seed Inventory would have been made welcome by
all. Why would i want to tease anyone with my, as you call it, ageing seed
collection or even gloat about it? Due to my Posting of my Seed inventory on
to the Mailing Lists i have already helped several List Members in obtaining
some seeds that they have been after for several years.

I have received e mails from such people, who want to remain anonymous,
asking if i would let the seeds they have been looking for go. I have agreed
to most and these people will be receiving the seeds FREE in the near future.
Do i really need to say more on this subject or is it going to drag out?

Come on now, you know that i am no longer in a position to grow Pumpkins etc
after loosing my patch last year. One thing that i will let everyone know is
and that is the Mombert 567.5 Seed that i had will be sown this spring in a
good friends Pumpkin Patch and i will be actively involved with the Plant and
resulting Pumpkins during the season.

On the subject of the kindness of the Growers who cared enough to share their
Seeds with someone who had promise of planting them i can only reply by
saying that how would you or anyone else know how i came about obtaining my
seeds or what was said between myself and the people who sent me the seeds.
It appears that quite a lot of growers on these lists have always had their
seeds given to them for free, unless they buy them in the Auctions.

This is the last reply that i am going to make on this thread as it appears
that i can obviously do nothing right and why should i have to keep on
defending my actions all the time. I have seen some postings on these Lists
over the past 10 months that have been of such a derogatory nature or have
been just darn right rude and yet the people involved or responsible for such
postings still appear to be in favour with List Members.

You and i used to e mail each other occasionally on a friendly basis, what
has happened?

MIKE
