Hello, hope everyone is well.. Some of you may remember me, awhile ago I
wrote in asking about my pumpkin seeds that had molded. Well, I hand washed
every seed and had them sitting in the oven with the light on for about two
weeks. They were really drying out. Well, yesterday during the Super Bowl
my husband decided to heat up a sandwich. He put the oven on broil and
walked away. A little while later he went to put in his sandwich and
noticed that he had turned on the WRONG oven. My pumpkin seeds were
smoking........... Most of them are quite dark(black or dark brown).
Ok, the magic question: Is their any hope for the seeds now, or should I
throw them away along with my husband??????????

Test germinate 10 of them in a wet paper towel slipped into a ZipLoc and put
in a warm spot. I do have a book that tells the benefits of organic matter
to garden soil, I'll see if it lists husbands.
