RE: GPC results 1993 - 2000

My list is intended to only include those pumpkins weighed at GPC sites -
Duncan's list includes all pumpkins weighed anywhere anytime.
It has been real difficult to get complete results for every site for every
year - in fact I found it to be impossible. For the less recent weighoffs I
relied on data that Hugh Wiberg (one of the original founders of the
GPC)sent me - in most cases he only had the top 5 per site. He told me that
the GPC was started in 1993 - so I have only included results from 1993 on.
I will admit to truncating the Topsfield 2000 list - I do have complete
results for this site (102 pumpkins weighing from 1009.6 --> 2.2) I cut it
off at pumpkins that wouldn't have made the top GPC 1000 at the time I
compiled the list (the last one I added was Dan Krusznya's 492.6)
I need a break from this list making - once I get recharged I'll add the
remainder of the Topsfield 2000.
If you or anyone knows of any GPC pumpkins that are missing from the list -
email me privately and I will add them in.
