Re: Seed Auctions

   Here here John
I too have been looking at the AGGC site and it appears to me you are
correct.
Many Good seeds are left in the envelope and never tried. It appears to me
that growers naturally put there BEST or proven seeds in there mound that
they feel gives them the best chance for that 1200 lbr. The other seeds
unproven seeds are put in secondary mounds or even worse. If that Unproven
seed comes to life and outshines the proven seed then it gets more attention
and is pushed the hardest in the last few weeks (maybe why we get cracks).
Look at many seed lines 500 and 600 the first year then 600 and 700 the next.
Now the word gets out and we all put them in our primary mound and we are
looking at 800 LB plus.
Now did this seed get better with age no I don't think so its
just...........
                             "WE BELIEVE IN THE SEED"
That's all it takes Believe in what you are planting, Give it all your love
and attention and I can only guess we will see the records broke every
year....Thats my 2 cents

and absolutely has no idea what he is talking about so take it with a grain
of salt thank you)
