RE: I can't believe it still going on

First of all the out and out statement " you are wrong!" offends me very much. Second what the hell are you talking about, Charity auctions have put things up that are untouchable to most of us sense charity auctions began. For instance battered women just put up a pair of Brittany Spears pants up for auctions they went for thousands. Cancer has a celebrity auction every year and auctions off the belongings of the rich and infamous. PGA holds a charity auction to play rounds off golf with your favorite Pro.It wouldn't make sense to have and auction where the prize was worthless. Charities use unattainable stuff to draw higher bids. I am not apposed to a more fair raffle either I am just not wrong

Thanks for your input

Dennis: I have kept quiet re my past with opinion. You are wrong ! If a person want's to make a donation
in any part of North America , they are free to do so. If you put a seed that is untouchable in our sport for
most growers, that's different. Its saying, if you can afford or wish the challenge, match or beat me with you
money. That'd not a charity, do you need a simple seed to entice people to give or get carried away with the
challenge. I think the raffle is far more humane & justified. That's the view from here.    Bill
