I had to wait until my husband (the real grower) got home to ask him what
pomace is
and he told me that he thinks it is a by-product of processing grapes for
juice or wine.
If that is the case he says it would be very acidic. Hope this helps. I
myself do not
keep a compost pile, hope this doesn't disqualify me as a pumpkin grower :)!
