Northern Indiana New Grower
Hello,
My name is Melissa and I live in Lagrange County in Northern Indiana. Last
year I began a quest as a bet with some guys at work to grow the biggest
pumpkin. I was not very sucessful, but neither were they. This year the
stakes have grown and the battle is on. Since my birthday is on Halloween,
I desparately want to win this contest, besides that fact that I'm the only
female employee there. I have bought and read both of Langevin's books,
which I think will help me tremendously. I'm very excited about the
upcoming season, and have already been sketching the watering system and
shelter's that I'm going to beg my husband to make. At this point I'm
mainly concerned about finding good seed and pollination. But any pointers
or advice would be wonderful.
