Lead & arsenic & Ironite

For those who were concerned about The lead and arsenic in Ironite,
 I received this letter back from the company:
Dear George:
 
Thank you for your e-mail.  The article in the Seattle Times is absolutely
misleading.  Since Ironite does not contain lead or arsenic.  Ironite does
contain a very small amount of galena and arseno-pyrite which are compounds
made by nature over millions of years under pressure.  Therefore they do not
dissolve and become available to plants, animals, and humans.  Only in total
destruction with a PH of 0 or a temperature of 4000 degrees you could make 
lead or arsenic available.  If we have these extreme conditions on the
planet, then everything would be dead.  That is like dropping an atomic bomb
on a building and seeing this building is not earthquake proof.  If you would
send me your mailing address I would be happy to send you an article on the
misunderstandings of Ironite.
