RE: one main vine


I tried it last year with the 772 A.Crueziger(sp?).  Had a pumpkin about
8 feet out on the vine.  I let the main grow (nothing else), it looked real
good when suddenly it protested, stopped growing at about 350 lbs (est).
 The vine kept going but the pumpkin wouldn't budge.  That's when I decided
there must be something to the story about the amount of leaves has something
to do with the pumpkins weight.
