They don't make them for garden use because we are the only nuts that would use them. The only change they might make is a heaver cord but the wattage is very low and I tape up a heavy duty cord to them on a Ground Fault Interrupter (important!). The rest of the unit is made to be buried in the ground but in a starting tray. Hope that helps.
