Hi List

I live within half a mile from the ocean as the crow flies in S.E. Mass. Being that the ocean has a higher temperature than the surrounding land mass during the winter, we generally have less snow, and warmer temps than towns just a few miles inland. I usually start my seeds the last week in April and set them out between the 7th and the 10th of May like most growers. I have been growing AGs for four years now and every year their growth seems to come to a halt around the first week of September. I am beginning to wonder if the proximity to the ocean and its effects on the local weather suggest that I should be starting my seeds  a week or two later.

Any Thoughts?
