Lots of good stuff and thanks to
Deb, Dennis, Thomas, Lyle and Rocky (for his humor).
Dennis, Pressure is no object......the water will go from my barrels
in my trailer to my 1000 Liter tank in the patch and then gravity feed
to my drip irrigation system. I'm still interested.
Thomas, We have a Walmart here in Germany but it looks much
different than the Walmarts there back home in the US. The basically
are a dollar store here.....but thanks for the idea. I'll check out some
camping and boating stores. I wonder how much a pump would cost
and if you could send one to me possibly anthrax-free to germany if
I paid ya...
Lyle, Funny comment!
Rocky......yes I WILL find a way even if I have to build a windmill,
put up solar panels and build the whole gadget out of wood. Thanks
for your comments! You have a great motto.
Michel White in Frozen minus 20 Celcius Germany....

Hi Michel
On the 12v pumps you have to keep in mind the GPM and the working pressure.
A pump may say it has 60 PSI but then if that no working pressure it may
not be able to keep up with the volume if you have to many misters or
sprinkler heads. I am going to use 1 350 tank and overhead sprinklers and
misters this season in a green house and run everything off a 12v pump that
does 5 GPM and has 60 psi working. It was 119.00 and worth every cent if it
work like it should. I have a catalog at work I will check tomorrow to see
if it has a web site and get back to you if you would like

For the pump you can go to any Wal Mart Store, go to the Sporting Good
Section where they have the boating equipment and get a small boat pump for
about te n dollars.

Does anyone know if there are 12 volt heating cables for my remote
pumpkin patch and whether or not anyone has a small 12 volt water
pump that I could use to transfer water from my 45 gallon drums on
my trailer to my 1000 Liter tank out at the patch?
Any help would be berry much appreciated!
