Tales From the Dragon's Keep - Memories from a Warm Summer

It hit 32.3 degrees here last night - the temperature perched on the brink between cold and freezing-ass cold.  That's about as chilly as it gets here this time of year.  The icy claws of old man winter dig in deeper a little further north.  But not in this valley chock full of silicon chips, heat sinks, and precious few pumpkins.

There's only one pumpkin left actually, sitting forlornly on my front porch with a coupla mock snowmen.  The rest are scattered mournfully over the patch returning slowly to the frosty earth.....

Over the past few days, I've warmed my chilly winter mood by finishing chapter four of my grower's log from last year:  "Tales from the Dragon's Keep"

To view it go to: http://home.pacbell.net/diana_do/saga11.htm and get a hot cup of chocklet while it loads.  It's guaranteed to bring back memories of a warmer time even though it takes a while to load.

I know my grower's log is a little late.  At this pace maybe I'll finish the last chapter before summer.  Anyway, it's more fun than scraping ice off  frozen windshields....
