Re: Auction

Since I guess I am the first to respond I will comment on the Dill
permission thing !!
Remember these seeds are Patented and even though you may be growing seeds
that are 15 years from the original pumpkin Dill grew they are still his
seeds. Soon the patent will be up and he will keep the trade mark "Dills
Atlantic Giant" or "Atlantic Giant" can't remember how it is trademarked.
After that just about every grower with seeds will have the right to sell
there seeds straight up !!
I just want to put out a little reminder for those out there who do want to
sell there seeds. You probably got your seeds from a friend for a trade or
for just asking I even bought a few from Dill and Waterman. problem I see is
once the patent is up it is fair game as long as you don't call them
"Atlantic Giants" seed prices in an open market could go to unbelievable
prices for great seeds like the 845 Bobier or 705 Stelts ETC ETC. and there
is already Hoarding awaiting that day. Here is my commitment I ABSOLUTELY
will not purchase seeds from anyone that IS NOT HOWARD DILL or does not have
his permission and I will absolutely NOT SELL any seeds I have no matter the
offer. Dill has never in forced his patent Legally as far as I know but for
me he will ALWAYS hold the patent "THEY ARE HIS SEEDS" !!!
Thanks all, I know I went a little deeper then the Question asked for but
this is just my Humble Opinion !!! Have a wonderful 2003 season !!!
