Growers and Poets,
I am pleased to report that we have a clear winner in the first round of
judging the 2nd annual Pumpkin Poetry Contest.
All three judges - Paul McIntyre, Pete Dudley and Vince Zunino - noted
the high quality of the entries and the difficulty of choosing among
them. I found eight poems that were so equal it was very, very hard to
pick 3, wrote one of them.
And now, the envelope please!
For the THIRD place prize, a George Webster-video of the 2003 Niagara
Falls Growers Meeting, donated by George Webster, the winner is:

For the SECOND place prize, donated by a very generous anonymous
