another poem
List,
The contest had some two dozen entries. Obviously not everyone could
win. I would like to call to your attention this one:
Pumpkins
by George Kilbert (age 10)
Pumpkins over 1385 pounds are cool,
They make Timmy Parks drool!
Pumpkins over 1385 pounds have lots of leaves,
Pumpkins over 1385 pounds did NOT get pollinated by bees.
Pumpkins over 1385 pounds come with lots of weeds,
Pumpkins over 1385 pounds have HOT seeds.
Pumpkins over 1385 pounds are hard to believe,
But they're real......just ask Steve!
I think Jim Kilbert has grown another winner.
