Luc Bex's 02 & 03 entries

Once I thought there was an elephant,
       who was standing in my yard.
        
       I would catch him, but on the other hand,
       I did 'nt knew where to start.
        
       I went to my neighbour and gave him a warn,
       but he got very upset.
        
       He took the animal under his arm,
       and said: "you silly man, this is my cat".
        
       The same happened to me last summer in august,
       as I went with my pumpkin to a local weigh-off.
        
       I did rent a big truck, that was a must,
       because my own trailer would 'nt be strong enough.
        
       My pumpkin was so big that I would be on the top of the list,
       it was really huge, at least over 1000 pound.
        
       But 492 on the scale told me that I'm an opportunist,
       and I was back with my feet on the ground.

If i would be a pumpkin,
i would be tall and orange in the hay.
But i am not a pumpkin,
and my pumpkin doesn't feel this way.
