From what I'm seeing it looks like about 6 or 8 California
growers are really going after Bob Troy's 777 lb. State Squash
Record in '04.
No doubt Bob will have to grow at least 10 squash plants this
year so he will have a chance to defend his title.
Hmmm, looks like no orange ones for Bob this year.
I've hear that Jeff Johnson is planning on putting in at least
a dozen 895.5 Hester's down there on the central coast !
Turkeyman and Big D Brock are gearing up also.....
Hey pirate.......I like the idea of the CA Squash Contest,
either with or without teams. We all can work out the details
at the Elk Grove Meeting in March. Could make for an
interesting year !
