Yes coffee grounds are great for your soil. They are great for acid loving
plants but when added to brown material such as leaves and dried grass will
help to keep a balanced soil pH. The following is an analysis performed by the
University of Washington, College of Forest Resources : Primary Nutrients
Secondary Nutrients
Nitrogen 1.45% Calcium 389 ug/g
Phosphorous nil Magnesium 448 ug/g
Potassium 1204 ug/g Sulfur high ug/g
(ug/g = microgram/gram)
