Top 10 Reasons Why Heavy -To- The- Charts is Good

10). Thicker fruits tend to mean less holes in the fruits during growing
season.
9). It is a wieght contest in reality...not a size contest
8). With a thicker fruit you need less pickup bed room per unit wieght which
may allow you to bring thats squash along for giggles
7). Is there anything better than having a fruit go 200 lbs heavier than you
expected?
6). Except ,of course, watching the guy whos pumpkin is 200lbs heavier by
size take second behind you....
5). Percent heavy is another fun winter topic to keep off-season growers from
killing each other.
4). It adds HOPE to the contestant between the time he sees Scotts and the
time his is wieghed.
3). It adds SOME validity to a squasher's reason behind growing the green.
2). It adds some validity to the orange guys reasons to had the green guys.
And the number one reason why % heavy is a desireable trait:
It adds a dimention of excitement, expectation, hope, and mystery that lasts
from the time you pick your seed to the time you've weighed the last fruit
....%heavy, in my opinion is THE number one determining factor in most contests
on wieghoff day...................2 cents please.........G
