650 Lloyd 1999 seed
Hello all,
Does anyone have these seed in the jar or freezer that they don't plan on using? I have several but am looking for a few more....George and Diana were kind enough to send me 2 of their last 4.
I began a 935 Lloyd genetics isolation project last year using this seed. I nosed around a little to find out why the 880 Lloyd or 650 Lloyd were never really planted...very little info found, a few snippets here and there. Anyone out there have any good information on these, 650 "99 and the 880 '97 (same cross as the 935) that they could share? Seems odd to me that the 880 and 650 were relegated to obscurity.
BTW, I did the following crosses in 2003 for seed only, if anyone's interested....
650 Lloyd '99 X self
650 Lloyd X 659 McCallum '00 (1092 Burke x self)
650 Lloyd X 911 Waterbury (876.5 x self)
