Future Farmer

My wife and I have been Arguing something and I need Clarification. It
appears my First baby will be born around July 23rd. now I am not too sure about
the GPC rules on future farmers but if I start the seed and get it in the ground
and he/she helps me take care of it when he/she gets here does this still
Qualify for weighing in as a Future farmer entry? My wife says NO and says to
wait a while to see if the kid even likes pumpkins but I want to get Him/Her
going as soon as possible. What do you think? Have a Wonderful Off season.....
