Pumpkin Poetry winners
Happy New Year, Growers and Poets Everywhere!
I am happy to announce the winners of the Third Annual Pumpkin Poetry
Contest.
In FIRST place is a grower/poet who goes by the name Lubadub.
SECOND place honors to Will Neily of Nova Scotia.
THIRD to Wallace Simmons.
Honorable Mention to Pete Dudley of Indiana.
For his win, Lubadub gets the Pumpkin Beret.
Neily gets the hand-painted Pumpkin Seed Earrings.
Simmons gets a great little book titled The Great Little Pumpkin Cookbook by
Michael Krondl.

Nine poets entered some wonderful poems this year. The judges were sweating
to choose a winner, and while their first choice was unanimous, it was a
catfight for the other positions. Thanks and congratulations to you all!
