This 1992 567.5 of Kirk Momberts is the mother pumpkin with the most
current success in the world.
In 1994 Kirk grew a 800.5 from it and in 1995 it grew in various parts of
North America a 875, a 850.5, a 846.5, a 833.5, a 816, and my own 680.
You can see from our Ottawa-St.Lawrence Growers "Family Tree" pamphlet of
November 96 how well it did in 96 - at least 17 pumpkins over 700 pounds.
Kirk wrote a very interesting article on his 567.5 seeds for the
Ottawa-St.Lawrence Growers June 96 newspaper. We have attached this
article for the "pumpkin list" to read.
NOTE: As this attachment was originally prepared for a layout in a tabloid
style newspaper, once you receive the attachment, in order to print same,
you will need to adjust your printer accordingly i.e. insert legal size
paper, or reduce the print size to fit on a 8 1/1 by 11.
