If you have rototilled your planting bed, you should try keeping off the soil
near your vines. When you are mounding or adding medium to your vines, consider
conducting your task from a established path. In viewing some of the video's,
they have placed boards down as paths to limit the compressed soil area.
Soil compression might hinder root growth.
