Whether the vine is yellow or green is of no consequence, however, what
does bother me is that the yellow vine is 5 inches across. If the vine is
turning wide and flat like a ribbon with lots of little females popping out
all over.....this is bad and should be terminated. Once in a while, the vine
will revert back to a round vine but not usually. I had one that was about one
foot wide....I snapped off the end of the vine to stop it. From the base of
the vine, normal side vines developed and turned into main vines later in the
season. Hope it's not turning into a flat one.
