Rookie in Oregon looking for help.....


Hi all!....

I just caught the giant pumpkin bug and need your help!

I recieved a  catalog form WPC and they sell seeds by the expected size
of the pumpkin (i.e, less than 100 lbs, 100-300 lbs, 300 - 500, greater
than 500, etc)

Are these reasonble accurate? or is there a better way to get a good
seed stock? (I am a biologist, but genetics is not my strong point.

Also, looking for an email mentor in Oregon (Clackamas County) for
support and information?????

And one more thing.....my plot will be about 15 feet by 75 feet......how
many plants can I plant in that area?
