Thats a really good point Broc, I've often wondered that myself. In fact
I would like to find out what is behind the Laemmle 609 in 89'. I can wrap
my mind around the Holland 616 and knowing its parentage makes half of the
cross make sense, but what about the other half? Al, maybe you have a
little insight on this?? I noticed you changed the Laemmle 609 background
from nothing in 96' to a cross between two Laemmle's in 97'. Did you talk
to them and find out that it was their own cross, but they don't know what
it was? It would be fantastic to know what that cross was or even what it
may have been. I don't want to restrict our genetic potential by only
looking backwards, but if you were going to make a cross between two
plants why not start by making a cross between two plants similar to the
ones that made the famous 567!!!!
