First: No, no, no, no, no. Let me repeat: I am a certified
landlubber. I don't do water. I MIGHT do air and sign up for
broom lessons (if I apprentice with the PumpkinWitch and live near
ZooDoo, would that make me VooDoo?) I have also considered growing a
pumpkin blimp and contracting with GoodYear so we could get better
camera angles of the event. Or I may follow up on one of those
marvelous pumpkin balloon ideas. (Mostly, with my New Yorker husband,
we would love to have an excuse to come to New York and provide moral
support from the shoreline.) But no, thank you very much, no water
for this pumpkineer.
Second: Joe. Aren't you just having too much fun!?
Beth
And a p.s. to Mark Smith: I really don't think you should use the
signature of Boring Oregon. I have been to Oregon - I have a brother in
Roseburg - and I don't think it is boring at all!!!

>>Beth,
>> No date has been set yet, for the 1998 pumpkin regatta. My guess is
that it will be the week before Halloween and mid week. It is more
difficult to get all the major networks out on the weekends. Do you
realize, you could be the first woman in the history of mankind, to
pilot a cucurboat? Awesome!!!
