Sounds like a movie!  The pumkin that ate the USA!  Or how about a movie sort
of like "Pumping Iron."  All the heavy hitters could be in it preparing for
the World Championship!  It is so different and wholesome that everyone would
pay to see it.  The movie "Breaking Away" started a bicycle racing boom in
this country.
Why not competitive pumpkin growing.  Someone in the know needs to prepare a
screenplay.
There must be some controversy and drama in it to make it interesting.
Someone could die and pass on secret seeds or the winning pumpkin could be
stolen before weighoff by vandals paid by another competitor(sort of like ice
skating) Why does Joe Mills want my address?  How about people trying to
manipulate others into surrendering seeds with the greatest potential?
Meanwhile in NZ John is trying to get secret aboriginal pumpkin secrets from
Stewart.  And the Anderson 977 seeds that everyone received were purchased at
Walmart;  Chris kept all the good ones!  We'll all get 70lbers next year and
Chris grows another winner!
