If I lived in the Pacific Northwest, I'd go see Holland and LaRue speak at
that get together on Feb. 21st.
I got a pH tester yesterday and discovered the soil in the pumpkin end of my
garden is pH 5.5. I won't be growing any 1000 lbers there. I must lime it I
suppose. I must get my soil in order and I must get Don's book.
If they have isolated the growth hormone gene from panfish, we should
transgenetically mutate largemouth bass. A fast growing northern strain or
smallmouth would be nice.
