I believe it has to do with our instinctual drive to propagate the
species. Looking for "good seed" , spreading pumpkin growing far and
wide, controlling the natural selection process so as to get the
"biggest" with the best chance to carry the seed on to the next
generation. Don,t you think we have tapped that instinct and diverted it
into AG growing? If it isn't this it must be some form of psychosis!
