Seriously Rado

Franz Kafka used to write about that if he could just understand that
one thing (for him it was a spinning top that a child was playing with)
that he felt he could extrapolate the rest of what he could not
understand from that one clear truth. The problem for Franz was that
every time he went to hold the spinning top the kid would start
screaming, destroying his meditation as well as any hope of ever
understanding a damn thing. I think we are bewildered by the enormity of
what is in front of us, to much to know, so we narrow down, hoping to
know that one thing, that beautifully mysterious pumpkin.
