Unlike the rhythm method, I believe christmas treeing actually works. The
plants stay nice and orderly, easy to prune, pinch, and weed. Easy access for
pollination and bug spraying. The plant doesn't get bogged down growing that
extra teritiary growth. It makes sense and I plan on using this method on all
of my plants. Only adjustment I will make is staring my plant in the center
of the site and letting the main and second main go in opposite directions,
branching the secondarys 90 degrees from them. After seeing Jack and Sherrie
Larues patch, I was sold on the idea. Every leaf had room to work, and if
needed every leaf could be accessed with no damage to the plant. And lets
see, they had a 1016, 916, and 4 others over 800 pounds this year, Hmmm must
work a little, just ask Chris.
